Same thing happened with Pistonheads..... Founder 'PetrolTed' (Dave) sold out to Haymarket for an undisclosed sum which i would imagine was a pretty considerable amount and plenty to have a good retirement on, and he went out and bought a 996 GTS RS. Fair play to him!!

Problem is since this happened the journalism that PH used to publish for members has seriously gone downhill and they have become very commercialised now. Not bad i suppose for a site that started off almost 9 yrs ago as a TVR only forum, if you happen to be the previous owner, but in my humble opinon it's going to the dogs.
