Bigpower

I remember seein a post about suggestions for next years BP events. Cant find it anywhere, so 1st idea is sat nav on websites! Seriously though I dont know if anyone suggested it so if they have I apologise. What about a "Big Power Show"??! Dont know exactly where it could be held, but It could maybe be something like all the cars there to look around and then in the afternoon clear the area and do mini events like drift battles and a time attack circuit. Posibly event get the likes of Terry Grant involved? You could charge a small entrance fee to cover costs and donate the rest of it to charity? Could be a really good day out that encourages more members to BP?

i second this idea, i would be well up for it.

Some nice ideas Dan but the small entrance fee would have to cover the insurance, St Johns, hire costs of the venue etc etc. From experience of trackday costs you'd be looking at between

Wow thats more expense than I thought it would be! I remember something similar many years ago that a local car club put on, it was a good day but had too many "johnny boys" with their neon washer jets! I imagine it would be possible to get local companies interested, they have a stand there for a fee which goes towards the costs of the event. If there was some contribution to a charity, possibly St Johns would do it volunterily?!
