Took the car and new turbo down to Zak's today for fitting and mapping.
So, on the way down I felt the clutch slip a couple of times. Typical
It felt fine the last time it was used. That was at Barkston with eight of the usual launches.

How long has that one been in Gerry? You have to remember your launches are a little harder than normal mate

Oh, it's done very wel so mustn't complain. It's an AP organic. Fitted 3 years ago, almost to the day and done about 40K miles and, as you say a few, harder than normal launches.
Luckily, the wagon I've ben breaking had a lightened flywheel and paddle clutch in it. So guess where that's going next

The joys of having two cars the same.........shame my other GTR was nearly empty!!
Was your fitting and mapping abandoned then Gerry?

Fitting proved to not be quite the 'drop in' it should have been. Being a little bigger it required cutting brackets, bending pipes and fettling of engine block and manifold to get it somewhere near.
I needed to get back for a table tennis match  so left them to it.
Upside, Zak lent me a 'courtesy car' which turned out to be his track prepped classic wagon
Downside, the clutch probably won't have enough for the mapping session.
Back tomorrow to see how it all went.

40,000 miles - that's incredible considering watching your launches - my Exedy lasted 3000 miles !!
