You're fitting a new lump Pablo ???

Is this the best time to catch hamsters in the wild then ???

:D :D :D :D

Personally,

I have been a bit skint, a bit too busy with work stuff suddenly coming out of every orifice, and a bit to generally car-malaise to be bothered with tinterweb too much. Dont feel like I have done anything "car'y" for ages and as such nothing really to talk about.

I might even miss my first BigPower night next week as I will be satrting to revamp John Lewis's TV department in Brent Cross and to begin with its a bit of nightwork.

Me, well I'm sat by the pool in Rhodes drinking magners and filling up on fillet steak every evening.

But it as been quiet on the forum, I guess we are in need of more track time .. I'm in need of new brakes, some new shiny stuff and some new tyres.

Anyway, I better get off and enjoy my holiday :)

The winters for tinkering, but being susceptible to the cold most of it seems to go on inside.

Soi far ive put a PC aside as a Media Center and loaded it with MythTV and added some more cabling for it from the sat dish, dead handy being able to set the video recorder from work :)

Avoided doing any more welding on the MG (i will get out this weekend honest ).

Pulled all the wiring out of the sitting room and rerouted it so its not such a mess.

Tidied the loft.

But mostly im looking forward to the resolution of all the motor sport seasons :) Its bathhurst this weekend so its 11 hours of couch potato, or off to see the MGs at snetterton... descisions...

I have been busy on a few fronts:

work ---------------
Busy working getting one big project done and dusted:

http://www.datz.com - Handbuilt by yours truly and launched last week through Sainsburys and Woolworths... phew

A new big project is underway related to the motor industry and will be unveiled shortly (ish) :D

Also been striving off hacker fcukwits (why cant these guys get a life??) on a clients server which has taken me into the depths of the night still working.

car --------------

Entry to Time Attack 2008 has been lodged and along with quite a few other familiar names, stand forward, Mike Payne, Kevin Duckworth, Zak Ramage, Fiona Muir, Lisa Diamond, Terry Buckel and many more, it looks like a huge BigPower turn out for this next year 8)

Final preparation for the ring trip in 2 weeks:

- i have been letting myself loose on the mapping of my car :o and frantically learning how to do it in small steps to fine tune the current set up. This will help me to make fine tune adjustments whilst on event with more confidence and get the best out of the car in all situations and on all fuel grades. So far so good, the engine load has been increased a fair amount and fuel trims, knock correction fine tuned to bring it closer to being happy all the time.

- tyre swapping season is underway in an effort to get the last few miles out of the various sets of tyres i have here and give me some good rubber for some serious laps of the ring :D

Preparation for next year:

- plans are underway to improve power outputs through turbo and internal modificatiosn to the engine. I am currently speccing these out and saving madly.

Yes, the site has been quiet but not for too much longer. Lets make next week's meet a good one !! (mine's a steak pie :D)
