I know TSL do these and i think they are coated on the inside as well as the outside to keep the heat inside the exhaust pipe aiding quicker spoolup, and lowering underbonnet temps by 30%-50%. Apparently even with the engine running the exhaust on the outside is barely warm and cool enough to touch. Amazing!! I think you can apply this treatment to every bit of the exhaust as well as the Turbo housing.

However, although i may be wrong i hear it's quite an expensive process and will cost a fair bit. I imagine the cheaper option is to get the headers and uppipe wrapped instead although it's probably not as good and from the ones i have seen wrapped it looks untidy.

Here are a couple of websites i came across this morning:

http://www.zircotec.org/
http://www.camcoat.u-net.com/ Prices: http://www.camcoat.u-net.com/Exhtprices2002.htm This one actually looks quite cost effective.
http://www.racestuff.co.uk/10440/info.php?p=8&pno=0 This site has some amazing coatings and lubricants that you apply yourself to exhausts, brakes and other bits. Not sure how good they are but the range of coatings looks very interesting. I want some to try out!!

I think probably the thick ceramic coatings they apply to your parts and then bake in an oven are probably the best ones and look the most professional and effective. More expensive than the sprays yes but i reckon proper coatings will probably last the lifetime of the exhaust as i can't see a thin spray from a can doing much or lasting very long to be honest but i could be wrong. Hope this helps :thumb:
