Talk to TSL up near Nottingham. They will mail you 4 quarts of Redline Heavy Shockproof and there are plenty of other stockists around, might even be one somewhere near you.
Fantastic stuff!! I had some probs with my gearbox recently....4th and 5th gears were cruncing quite badly going up or down at highish revs. I was recommeded to use Redline HEavy ShcokProof, and it did the job. There was an instand improvement, and after a week the problem had almost completely gone. Several weeks gone by and the prob has completely gone and the box is very smooth now too. It's recommended for problem gearboxes and diffs. My rear Diff will be getting the same treatment in due course. :thumb:

When I bought my Skyline, with just 32K on the clock, it would crunch slightly changing into 5th. The problem gradually got worse and worse and even a slooow change at more than 4,000rpm would result in a juddering crunch
I was advised to use Redline Heavy Shock Proof oil and it cured the fault and now 30,000 miles later, it is still fine
The only downside that I have found, is that the first couple of gearchanges from 1st to 2nd are baulky when the oil is cold, but a mile up the road and it is fine. I have recommended Heavy Shock Proof to loads of people now. I got mine directly from the Redline website.
