Team drifting

Post by gtst lad »

Have noticed a few team drift events poping up here and there...

So whose up for it? Bigpower drift team :D (we would need to get together at events and twin, triple, quad drift etc, small collisions are very possible)

Count me in for absolute certain.
Working like a dog at moment to get car ready for a bit of drifting.

Just need to find a suitable practice area.

Not when our cars get binned lol. I think our level of drifting might require some improvement before we think about twin. That said, it would be cool to have a go :)

I'd give it a go if I still had a crap car that I didn't care about, but I blew it up at Marham

In fact I did a bit of twin drifting at Marham with my mate Craig in his Opel Monza (nobody got it on camera unfortunately as it was nowhere near the crowd) and he lost it. Luckily I was expecting something to go wrong even though I'm totally confident that he can drift very well, so I quickly got out of the drift and swerved to avoid him and went onto the grass. Everyone that went past me thought that I had got it wrong, when in fact I was on to a winner before Craig spun!

Im hoping some form of practice place where I can get full use of 4th will become a reality, I guess until then I may as well practice something, so Im up for some team drifting with ya fella.

J.

PS I fancy doing Marham just to see what the place is like, although from what Ive seen it seems slow and small - have you been ???
I have issues !!! :ack2:....I used to be average, now I reminisce !!!

Good man :D, i and most on here will admit we suck badly in the grand scheme of things but no one ever got anywhere from not getting stuck in!

I'm not saying any of us would win anything (barring bladey :) ) but we could start a team that would spend time together at practice days, seeing how each other drifts, drifting together and learning how close we can get etc 8)
