i thought i was fairly competent on a bike, but was sent this from the last outing of one of our sponsored road-race riders (Keith Pringle) at Olivers Mount, Scarborough...............

yep, circuit guys have plenty of commitment, but if you ever go to Scarborough you will see that the run-off is about 10cm wide before a wooden latt fence!!! if your lucky you end up in the cafe...........

That looks a bit special.......The look on Keiths face......steely determination and focus. Do they do any racing like that in these parts?

nearest you'll get to Scarborough type racing is either Ireland or Isle of Man..............pure closed roads, they shut the park for the w/end!!

How often is Scarborough on??

3-4 times per year for bike road racing, far too narrow for cars although they do an odd speed event there...............more info here
