That sounds pretty bad to roll it on the pit straight, was it raining there today?

Yup it's a mess alright, believe it's an 07 reg car too. Was a job to get it off the recovery truck and into the bodyshop as the rear alloy suspension arms have snapped and the front offside suspension assembly is almost ripped off. Not a pretty sight and much damage.
If allowed i will try and get some pix of the car But its not pretty, dont know how it happend though!

yeah was quite wet there today
didnt see the crash itself but think he spun coming out of russells alwaya a puddle there when its wet and it fired him across the track into the armco .
i will talk to my friend tommorrow and get the details for you .
will update tomorrow .
had a bad one at snetterton earlier this year at turn one myself so know how it feels to see your own car in bits .
but thats the risk we all take each time we venture out onto track .
luckily mine was repairable but i think the porsche maybe a write off

Sounds like a bad one. I hope the driver was Ok.

I can see an accident happening at that section of the circuit but for someone to roll the car he must have hit the grass sideways and 'dug in' causing a flip........

More work for the maintenance boys (Alan will be pleased).
