Snetterton 22/08/07 drift night.

Had a really really good night and huge thanks to stu, nick and everyone else who organised the night and stood out in the rain all night.

Hope there isn't any serious comeback from the scooby wiping out the concrete posts :o and as i said i'm sure all us bigpower members could club together and pay the repair bill. 8)

A white scooby wagon had a bit of a moment and literally tore 4 post out of the ground, pulled up a load of fencing and did a bit of damage to his motor as well.
It was very very wet and slippy out there though could easily of happened to anyone.

Gerry got back OK and is in good spirits as always.

Good idea gtst, I'm happy to put my hand in my pocket for a BP whip round if snet wants some money to put the fence back up. Last thing you need after stacking the car is a bill for a fence!

Other than that, brill night, thanks to the BP boys, clockwork.

Yup awesome time, really enjoyed that, probably as much as rolty!

I'd like to help out with the fence as well!

I'm made up to be honest, the car was totally brilliant and I couldn't not have asked more from it.

Even pleased that it was raining!

Cheers

Matt

Was an eventful evening to say the least - thanks for everyone's support and for coming along in the quite frankly shit weather :thumb:

What a quality night - I don't think I've ever had so much fun in a car :D

I'd be more than happy to put in for the repair bill :)

As has been said, cheers for organising the event and well done to Nik for braving the elements for the evening :)

If it helps to continue good relations with the circuit then I'd be happy to help out.

Hope all involved are Ok :thumb:

Another great event ( apart from the obvious).

Thanks to Stu for the loan of the brolly. :D:D

I am sure between us all we can sort the fence situation, I just feel sorry for Stu as he is the one who is going to get the earache in the morning :D:D unfortunately these things happen, just a shame it should happen on the last time we have a drift night booked at Snetterton.

Glad to hear that Gerry got home OK. I hope the repairs to the car are swift and inexpensive.

A very nice meal with great company afterwards too :)
I may be getting older but I REFUSE to grow up :D

Indeed,

Interesting to witness the "progress" made by some drivers - certainly there is less fear out there than last couple of times !!!

:D :D :D

Nice little stop afterwards too !!
