GRRRRRR ****ing SSAutoChrome Manifolds

Manifold on for a "few" weeks and its cracked all the way around the wastegate runner where it meets the manifold :x :x :x
First the wastegate leaks which turns out to be the seal on the valve so I have to, with very little mechanical knowledge at all (and alittle help), lap the valve into the seat. Who knew I could do that myself **very proud**
Not a pro job but I'm impressed with myself
BUT BUT BUT THEN...............
Grrrr, the blowing noise is still there all be it alittle quieter. Further investigation reveals that the weld has split only about a quarter of the weld holding on.
Not a happy PussyCat today

sort of I have their top mount manifold and wastegate but its been cut around ALOT to allow it to fit in the engine bay. All the custom welds are holding though
Not using their turbo's.
Whats wrong with the F-Con?? I heard it was a brilliant unit :?

at least you not got there turbo
theres so many other options
power fc,vems, safc i could prob get you on motec for similar costs to fcon
what power you after running ?

Already have the SAFC2
I've been looking into a ECU upgrade from Horsham, the only thing that worries me however is the ignition timing every car is different and two seeminly identical cars can det at very different times. I just worry about teh timing more than the fueling.
Power FC I'm not tooooo sold on to be fair, Emanage ultimate is a possibility can't say I've heard of Vems though **hangs head in shame**
I'm only after about 450 to be honest, nothing massive.

we do 200sx all time emanage i wouldnt ever fit to one, cause's more probs than it fixes.power fc is the favoured route for most
450 in 200sx is massive, many think they have 450 plus but if only ever dyno'ed a handlefull of cars that have 450plus bhp

Massive, really?? weird :?
I wouldn't think 450 was that hard, stage 3 head, 274 cams, few block tweeks to allow it to hold it. Knife edge crank, forged rods and pistons, MHG, GT2876 turbo, 550's, management system etc its a few grand but nothing that can't be done.
I know what you mean though alot of peoples figures are made up as literal guess work nothing more. I never listen to anyone untill they show me a dyno sheet

lol dyno print outs can a waste of time too
550's you'll never get to 400bhp safely
we use 740's for any car we do

740's wow thats big!! would've thought ythe minium you could use those on would be about 330 or so or you'd have a duty of about 10% @ WOT

Just to add, I've had a manifold from ssautochrome and never had a problem yet.
Also I've used emanage on my 200 and would never reccomend it to anyone, I'd trust gary on that one. he knows his stuff
