Me and Bart are off to the ring next week for our first time
Was just wondering where are start and finish points of the lap - Not that we have any intention of timing our laps you understand 8)

Typically Touristfahren (tourist trips) are looked upon as non-timed, or should be, but if you were to time your stately progress you should use the bridge just after the coned area from the car park and then the first gantry on the main straight 12.9 miles later. You will often see BTG (bridge to gantry) referred to in reference to the 'Ring.
Hope this helps :thumb:

Cheers Stu.
I must admit we are both really looking forward to this now. Just ordered another track tyre as we didn't have a spare. All stocked up with cvl turbo octane boost and a load of spares so just about ready for the off 8)

be safe Bart, enjoy it and start to learn the track at your pace.
I will try my best up in Scotland as will Mike Payne, having our little battle between ourselves. Fingers crossed it will be dry.
