BigPower Quarter mile night requirements

I thought I should make a seperate thread outlining the requirements for this event. I'll try and give you an idea of how it will run too.
The event will run between 5.30pm and finish between 7.30pm and 8.00pm.
Please be there by 5pm.
All drivers will be required to have a suitable crash helmet, their drivers licenses, a road worthy car and they must attend a safety briefing before the join the event. All passengers will require a crash helmet. ANYBODY that wants to go on the track whether driving or passenger will have to complete the normal 'Motorsports is Dangerous' style disclaimer before they go on the track. No lids, no completed and/or no drivers licenses means no taking part. Sorry but these are the rules for racing at Snetterton so there will be no exceptions.
Trevor and the team from Straightliners will be providing the timing and logistics for the event.
We will run anti clockwise starting from the bridge on the appropriately named Revett straight and work our way up towards Sears. Once you have crossed the quarter mile mark you must brake to 40mph and maintain that speed or less around Sears, Riches and then enter the pitlane. Once in the pitlane you must reduce your speed to 10 miles per hour and head down to the last garage and turn left into the paddock (ie the exact opposite directions to a trackday). From the paddock make your way out over the double speed humps and towards the bridge. There will be an official or marshall at this point controlling access back on to the circuit for your next go. Anyone found breaking the speed limit imposed around the track will be asked to leave. I don't just mean the track, I also mean the club. These rules are here to be followed so please do your best to help the club maintain its relationship with the circuit.
We are looking to ensure everyone has around 5-6 runs each and the fastest elapsed time of the night will receive the trophy and will be named BigPower 1/4 mile champion.
