Finally the month in the Sahara Desert is nearly up for Cod and myself and soon we will be getting on the plane and flying back to Blighty.

The day i have been looking forward to is nearly here.

Wednesday 20th June @ 08:15 two Norfolk boys will have big :D :D as they take off from Hassi Messaoud Airport for a month of freedom before they have to turn around and do it all again :( .

The Oil Industry in all rotational forms is a totally different way of life to what most people are used to. Some couldn't do it, some enjoy it. I myself love the time off and being able to do what i want for a whole month.
The downside is that we end up wishing half of our lives away and we miss important events, not just Big Power Meets  but Birthdays, Christmas etc.

Yes i can wait to get playing on that. It seems i have a lot of catching up to do.

I've got to get a fault fixed on my wireless connection before i can meet up online with all you mad professional drivers. Then i can see square eye syndrome happening.

Are you using one of those 360 wireless aerial things? .. I gave up trying to make it work and moved the router closer to the 360 ... then put a wireless card in my PC .. hey presto - all sorted.

Yes i use the 360 wireless aerials that plug into the usb port.

It worked fine up until i changed my broadband from BT to Orange.

I wonder if there is some sort of setting/code i have to use for the Orange broadband?

The wireless internet is picked up on my laptop without any problems though

My wireless router is in my office and the 360 is in my lounge near the tv. How can i move it closer and i will still need a wireless conection yes???

It's all too confusing lol.

:) - I put my router behind the TV .. but then my internet does come out of the TV.

What I noticed when setting up the wireless on my 360 was that it learns the network then saves that setting - have you told it to find the new network - I am assuming you are using the same hub just a different provider? ...

No it's a new box, called the orange box.

I followed all the instructions but i get a red light on the wireless ariel on the 360 and it used to be green, so i'm not sure if that now doesn't work.

I've just found out i'm not flying home on Wednesday i've got to stay till Friday now but the good news is i will be home for the 18th Drag night so i'm signed up and paid.
