:(

Dont know if this is the right section,

But thought I'd say a quick sorry for a bit of a poor result today for anyone who was rooting for me. A few technical gremlins crept into my previously 100% reliable (in competition) car this weekend, which finally managed to put pay to a top8 finish.

Ho hum - sh1t happens I guess :(

It'll be fixed tomorrow and ready for whatever else we throw at it !!!! A few little extra bits might get done too.

Cheers for any support and a big thankyou to Stuart for the help today and putting up with me being a pensive moody bugger for a large part of the day when things were going wrong !!!

No need to apologise J - just gutted for you as you had qualified so well only for it to be spoilt by a wide open throttle and some gravel rash.

We were thinking that we were a curse on you and Mike. :(

There I was sitting in the stands, bragging about Steve Carter and our Bladdey and you both bin it in the kitty litter

Glad to hear that yours was a technical problem, though and not driver error

Aye,

Im a lot more reflective about it today.

Its just I spent most of Friday driving round issues of one sort or another, and then Saturday everything seemed to be going so well - nice and smooth, pretty consistant and then the sighting lap in the twin totally relaxed me - in fact the banter with the drivers on the start line did that as I was pretty tense before going out. I guess a throttle that "does its own thing" is a bit of a lattery ticket. It was a right git to get on the trailer afterwards too, kept wheelspinning and spitting the boards out the back !!!

I cant wait to burn whatever piece of wire or connector it is thats responsible !!!

:D :D :D

Unlucky Jay......I know this will be little consolation but this is how it went from up in the stands at Luffield :-D .......when you did the first run side by side the crowd were doing their nuts, it was great being up there, and when you 'parked up' for a couple of mins and were helped out everyone stood up and clapped. I got goosebumps seeing that as it was one of 'our' lads getting the ovation :D

Well done anyway big man 8)
