Just heard from the Reverand Bladerider.
I am delighted to say that he has qualified 7th for Sunday, even with several problems with the car :notworthy:
Well done fella, see you Sunday :thumb:

Thanks alot,
Here is how the Tsuiso battles will line up on Sunday afternoon, basically its top 8 against bottom 8 with 1st vs 16th, 2nd vs 15th etc.........
Maciej Polody v Brett Castle
James Hudson v Tony Green
Stephen Evans v Alan Mc.Cord
Ben Broke Smith v Mark Buckle
Mark Luney v Declan Hicks
Chris Parry v Niall Gunn
James Grimsey v Ian Harrison
Phil Morrisson v Peter Barber
Should be interesting experience. Hopefully the car will play ball on Sunday with a long list of things going wrong yesterday !!!! Still it all came good in the end, shame I didnt clip the apex on my last run else I'd have come 3rd, but I came in a little too hot and missed it by a couple of meters !!!!
See you all tomorrow !!
J.

Some interesting Tsuiso battles there.
Polody v Castle
Luney v Hicks in particular
Will the judges prioritise speed or smooooooooooooooothness?

(How's the head after last night?)

Tsuiso is simply about who makes it look the best.
No more clipping points, no more perfect driving.
Just simply get round the course, as sideways as possible in a way the other guy cant match - or if following close in on the other guys car as you can do it better/faster/with more angle.
Theres lots more to it than that and you could even say the above is wrong in some ways, but that should help anyone watching tomorrow - usually the crowds get it right, although big deductions are made if you have to "correct" ie take a different line or modify the one you're on. Also failing to keep up or leaving the guy behind is crucial - the reason i was said to have been beaten in my last Tsuiso at Silverstone against Stiggy.
Anyways it should be fun, and if nothing else it means I am still improving (9th was my highest placing last year).
Onwards and upwards I believe !!!

And no - I didnt bother having a drink drink, I was too hot and tired so had the usual orange and lemonade
