Exhaust Manifold Flange cutting.....

Post by Christian and Beccy »

Is anyone on here equipped to cut an exhaust manifold flange or know someone that can?

I have a gasket as a pattern and it needs to be of high quality to go with a Stainless Tubular Manifold.

Help!!

Hello mate I can get it done for you what thickness do you want it in 10mm? 304 or 316? Give me a bell on tuesday 01508 490406 thats my work number.

What type of tolerance do you need for it? General machining tolerance ok?

Regards

Matt, I will call you in the morning (Tuesday), but wanted to post a pic of the shape of the CVH Exhaust Flange. Not sure if it needs the intricacies, but the current flange is 13mm thick.

Regarding the 'Ports' I would need to specify a size ideally, slightly larger than they are there, so that the tubes can insert into the flange and be welded inside and out.

Of course, if you think you can do the job and the Gasket is suitable as a pattern, I will send it to you.
