9 Weeks today and we will be at the Nurburg ring :-D
This potentielly leaves us 8 weeks to get everything ready so yesterday I sat down to work out our plan of action. Not good :o

1 weekend we are at santa pod
1 weekend we are at Donnington
2 weekends Alan is at work

This leaves us 4 weekends to get the following done.

1. Relocate the seventh injector for better fuel distribution
2. Install the MF2 controller
3. Have the MF2 set up and mapped
4. Fit new magnecor leads
5. Oil and filter change
6. Re-wire oil pressure and temperature gauges
7. Have wheels balanced and tracking checked
8. Sort out front bumper/splitter (That won't scrape)
9. Improve the balance of the car
10. Check / change brake pads

I'm sure there are a few more things that will need to be done :)

You must be so excited, I know I would be. I would love to take my Sierra over there...........no chance of that though.

How many of you are going over from the Midlands or are you all meeting up and then doing a convoy ala Gumball?

We know of one other person going from Walsall.
We are travelling down the day before and stopping at a hotel 12 miles from Brands Hatch.
It all starts from Brands Hatch with a convoy down to catch the ferry. When I last checked there was 77 entrants. Crazy part is at the moment i am not excited still got to much to do and think about. I know that when it get closer and when we actually get there i'll be excited and scared for that first lap.

The feeling of fear will ebb and flow when you get there.

Scary points for me were, sometimes, silly little things. Buying the ticket from the auto dispenser, the anticipation of making the 'step' to actually go out and try it for the first time. Also, waiting for the ticket barrier to go up.......so daft but the butterflies at that point are just crazy. The sensation of completing your first lap though..........absolutely amazing.

You'll have a great time and I'm looking forward to all of the feedback mate.
