Hope it's ok to post this just thought it would be fun to work with another car nut lol.
One of my work mates handed in his notice today so this is hot off the press.

Duties include the following.

Servicing and repairing 37 - 45 foot 6 - 8 berth inland waterway hire cruisers.
24hr on call for a week every three weeks.
Demonstrating the workings of the boats and how to drive them to clients.
Bridge piloting.
Boat washing.
Repairing of any damage to grp structure.

You do need to literally beable to turn your hand to anything from unblocking a toilet to changing a damper plate and drive spline at the side of the river.

This is a hugely varied job and you really never know what's going to happen from day to day.

Pay is not amazing and would have to be negotiated depending upon experience, if anyones seriously interested PM me and i'll give you details of who to phone and ask for . 8)

It's much more marine engineer/holiday rep orientated but during the winter we refurb the hulls and superstructures, also get some damage now and again from clients crashing into things that needs fixing.

PM me if you like and i can give you some contact details to phone in work hours and discuss further 8)
