any chance we could persuade him to do a write up?
both RWD and 4WD perspectives?

Theres nothing I could tell on the internet that isnt covered in Drift Bible to be honest.
I dont mind giving the odd pointer to help someone who is enthusiastic and I have seen what they are doing wrong, but Im certainly no Maxx like super instructor !! :oops: :oops:

I have the Drift Bible DVD if anyone would like to borrow it. I should have watched it more intently as it may have helped.
I for one would love to see some input in written form from the man himself.

Thats harsh Ben,
I distinctly felt there was a pack of Jello and at least half a bag of molten marshmallows in the drivetrain too !!!
I really dont think I would be comfortable with the idea people were trying to learn potentially dangerous driving techniques from me. I just about know what Im doing myself, and Im certainly not at the kind of level Mulvey, Phil or Brett are and just dont think I am the best person to be giving advice. Im not playing for sympathy, I know I can sling a car about a bit but that doesnt mean I can tell people the BEST way to do similar. And I couldnt hold a candle to what someone like Maxx could teach.

In fairness to james, once you get to grips with it, you learn your own style.
For example, I like Biiiiiiiiiiiiiiig handbrake entries and james frowns on them
You can learn a LOT by watching. Wether it be in the car sat as a passenger, video, at an event etc.
But seat time is where its at. If youre serious, get a decent seat and harness, some suspension and go from there.
The hardest bit initially is learning to let go of the wheel and power on, when your brain (for those of you that still have one
) tells you to lift and counter steer...
Well, at least they were for me anyway!
