In a day and home in time for tea - not bad at all
Fully tested the new supsension set up and I am loving it lots 8) Zak set the cambers etc with me in the car so as to compensate for any effect of me in there. Obviously this put the geo out slightly when carrying passengers
Turn in is quick, crisp and power can now be applied much early without the car washing out.... it just grips and dips the back down ready to slingshot me out.
Thanks Zak - i think i am gonna have some fun with this 8)
The inetersting thing about the suspension geo set up kit is that it is measured through the whole range of the suspension travel and steering to get a full feel for how it works in the real world....nice :thumb:

Nice to hear that two very different set ups both made the drivers grin
I'm sure the Smurf will be even more potent with young Zaks magic suspension set up. Nice to hear you're getting less understeer now, it will stop you needing a three point turn at the Karussell
Wales and back in a day~ sounds ideal if it wasn't for the going to Wales bit in the first place.
Dave~ you're not on a budget, you're just used to getting everything for your car for fuck all 8)
Me? No bottom ball joint yet, really wanked camber and alignment too but I still have plenty of time....:wave2:

If you don't mind me asking, how much did it cost for the full 4 wheel alignment??

Hopefully there will be a full new supsension set up going on for TA with coilovers and a slightly lower stance. But, if that doesnt happen I would be very happy to drive it as it is now - the turn in and grip is superb and as Stu said the inherent understeer is almost gone completely
We nearly doubled the negative camber on the front in this exercise and was, as usual, after the minute amount of adjustment to get it completely level and even across both sides.
I jokingly said about how he should set it up with me in the car but 1 minute later I was told to clamber up the ramps and sit in the car whilst he lined it all up with me in it.... nice.
Welsh roads are lovely indeed and well worth the trip over past that nasty Birmingham place and the traffic jams around there

Birmingham's not that bad after all Al lives there........ ahh yes i see what you mean he does have a tendancy to lower the tone
Seriously though gutted that we're going to miss your debut, we'll be at the ring that wekend. Good luck though mate :thumb:

I think you will have a great time Pablo - you will have to write one of your special reports of that trip :thumb:
If you use a laptop - they have wifi available for free in most of the hotels and at the PistenKlaus

Welsh roads are the amazing! On my last driving course we spent 3 days of the 4 weeks there
Really teaches you how to read roads and bends!! Especially when trying to make progress
Makes Norfolk seem really easy to drive when you come back!!
