This is a longshot, but sometimes you gotta try everything !

I would be eternally grateful if this longshot yeilded results, but I know it wont !!!

Some theiving pikey scum fooker stole my ladders today whilst on a job in Peterborough. Whilst most people would find this nothing to get too stressed about I obviously use them all the time for work, and moreover they are a hard to get, expensive set of heavyweight commercial ladders, literally the next level down from rope ladders that the fire brigade use.

If any of the building type tradesmen who use this site get offered a set of 15rung "Trade" triples that are much heavier in weight than most ladders you have come across before please simply check the bases of the vertical side sections on the beck edge for small - 2mm - drill holes that I drilled to let water out (else you cant lift them !!).

They are going to be a right pain to replace and even if I dont get them back I want to dangle the theiving coonts that took them off of something high by their ankles. :x :x :x :x :x :x :x

Cheers,

James.

Little b@5tards!

This seriously infuriates me, my the f##K can't people keep their hands off of other peoples property. If it doesn't belong to you, don't f##k##g touch it, it really isn't that hard. If you haven't already guessed this sort of thing really pi$$es me off!

I hope you get it sorted J

They obviously didnt see they were yours mate, otherwise they would have known not to touch the things !!!!!!

Amazes me that someone could steel them, I am guessing they arent either light or easy to run with ?!!!?

Cheers guys,

I guess they weigh somewhere around the 50kilo mark. Until you are used to them one person cant get them off the van without leaning it against the van and sliding them up - which I dont allow as I dont have a full roof rack anymore !! I could walk fast or run with them if I needed to as Im a big fecker and have been using them for 14 years !! I doubt any normal person on their own could, so I suspect this was a couple of kids or a pikey with a van. Dan was literally away from them for a maximum of 5 minutes.

Its a cliche, and has even been used in movies, but it would almost be worth them stealing them, just so I could catch them doing it !!!

A big estate just off the ring road,

Buckminster close I think,

Trouble is we are doing the entire estate - 400+ systems for communal dwellings over the next 6 months :( :(
