Hardcore running costs

Post by Stuart »

We all lick our wounds from time to time, mulling over the pain of running our cars properly. Ben and I did a comparison not so long ago about our GTR's and that was a humbling experience (If Tanya and Jo ever get hold of that thread, we are doomed)

Anyway, my point~ I picked up an issue of Octane magazine when at the Autosport show, therein was a buyers guide on a Lamborghini Diablo.

Those of a financially fragile disposition may want to make up a cup of tea and sit down.

Ahh... but if you add in all the money we spend modding our cars so that they perfom like these, then the difference is not so much!

Blimey - they are quite pricey - makes the GTR sound like a runaround.

Joking apart I guess if you are in the financial ball park of being able to buy one, I would expect you have the pennies to maintain it ....

The Diablo is a lot of money, but no more than you would pay for a good GT3 Porsche.

So. Any more titanic running costs (don't include girlfriends :D )

I remember seeing an advert for a Ferrari 328, it was sensibly priced and it got me thinking. Then in the advert is said, just had
Big single, 6spd manual, TRD Diff, no traction control - lovin' it
