Big Brother is set to watch you even closer!

This is not the usual Support email but the topic is going to affect every one of us in one way or another, and most of us directly, so please take the time to read it and go online to sign the petition.

The government's proposal to introduce road pricing will mean you having to purchase a tracking device for your car and paying a monthly bill to use it.

This doesn't seem realistic - is it not being muddled with NU's Pay as you drive ? ... I don't think the government have the resources to be able to record the information from the millions of cars in the UK!.

Pay-as-you-drive is a great idea - people should only use it if it benefits them - i.e. someone who only drives a few miles a week. Myself I drive about 100 miles a month however my car is not a type that NU insure.

No this is separate from the NU Scheme. The plan with this one is to scrap things like fuel duty and road tax and roll out this think i heard the plan was to start around 2012 or something like that. It is a long way from happening but if they start investing money in to the idea then it won
