Poorly EVO

My EVO is in the garage at the moment as the heater matrix burst causing steam to come out of the vents in the car

This is going to cost

the ayc pump is in the back of car mate,and theres a few around from cars that have been broken,
id wait till it comes back and go to a third party for a different view
we have the mut tool to,what makes them say its gone

Thats exactly what I'm intending on doing mate. From your experience, would the MUT III just flag up a fault or would it specify where the fault lies, ie. Solenoid, Relay or Pressure Switch? I suspect it has just thrown up a fault code and they have come to the conclusion a new pump is required.
I may pay you a visit once I get it back mate

My ayc switch is also dicky,the light comes on after about 30 miles so it'll only get worse

Blacky it is only Scoobs, the car stil drives and when the light is out the AYC works aswell :-D
Just wants a fix before the light stays on all the time

The problem with the pump is probably just the valves, but they can be replaced seperately. Not from Mitsi as they will only sell a whole pump. The valves are not even a
