Web design is one thing. vBulletin and the hashed migration due to one forum being dropped whilst the new server was not ready is quite another. By all means see what he reckons but I've already had some very informed people sucking through their teeth.

I don't mean to sound bitter but most of this could have been avoided

Thanks

I've no idea what's involved. I'll ask him if he knows anything about vBulletin.

A front page will be there as soon as I can sort one out amongst a 60 hour a week job, a small holding and my gorgeous other half, organising events and having a life.

No offence taken. I mean that too, I take no offence from anyone's comments.
Well done Stu! I did`nt dought for a moment that you would`nt have it all in hand!:)

I'm pretty sure this is a standard with the VBB stuff but there might be a setting applied to the forum that is only enabling the edit option for a short period of time.

Found it :) Now you will be able to edit your posts for up to 24 hours as before, if you edit after 5 minutes you will get a "Last edited by..." bit of text, if you edit before then, no message. Thread titles can be changed within the first 30 minutes.

Hope that helps.

The layout has changed. Thank fcku for that! It's a little more like the old format with the user cr@p kept to the left margin and the posted twaddle over to the right.

Well done whoever sorted that, Stu :D

Theres also a new forum stylie thing "OldStyleBP" that should look a bit more like the old forum did. (Drop box, bottom left of your screen or in your user settings).
