Hope you get it sorted soon Duncan, at least you were unhurt and that's the main thing. Not sure if you need help at all, but just shout if I can be of assistance.

Wow not been on for a few days and just seen this. Sorry to see this Dunc, as you know I know how it feels. I,m surprised that the side airbags didn't deploy. My front airbags didn't deploy either and you saw the damage to my car.

It's just a guess that they are disabled as they didnt go off. Good point though.

I'm sure you can get them working again by using the resistor method. Take one correct value resistor and solder each leg of it to the correct contacts on the connector that went to your OEM seat.

I'm sure that's right. :)

I've just had a look on ScoobyMods and you will have to do a couple of other bits too as yours is an MY06.

http://www.scoobymods.com/forums/showthread.php?t=7434

You may already have read this thread but i found it useful.

I'm very lucky i don't have any of that malarky to do on mine if i swap seats as my chair doesn't have any connectors underneath to mess with so no airbag light issues for me.

Good luck with that and spot on about the 3Ohm resistor :thumb:
