In fairness Andy, the circuit/Jamie have been very cool about the whole thing. At this stage it is my call to try and find an alternative venue with a lot more space with varied layouts and more high speed opportunities.
The repercussions of one of us causing damage on the skid pan and therefore jeopardising our future use of the circuit, does not bear thinking about.
I will announce details as soon as I have them. I for one want as much practice as I can get, so you can rest assured of my intentions to secure a viable alternative as soon as possible.

Its all down to two things. Noise and speed. The dry surface creates more noise=more complaints and more likelyhood of not being a repeat thing if that's the case, the wet surface will induce a break in traction at lower speeds therefore make the event safer.driftmonkey wrote:cant you keep it dry,it made such a mess of my car last time,it look like it had been through a field.you dont need big power to go sideways.my supra is standerd engine.you need to learn your car.its more rewarding getting it right in the dry.
By all mean Clive if you know of somewhere safe and cheap to practice where they don't mind the noise, please lt me know mate.
