Quick spec is as follows
<snippo>
V. cool! Mine is similar, except it started as a 325i in any case.

Out of interest, how much do you reckon yours is worth?

And a few other questions:

1) Where did you get the short shifter from?
2) Is the M50 engine the one from the E36 or E30 325i?
3) What the heck is a Porsche 944 Booster??

What sort of power increase did you see from the fast road chip? 6-7bhp?

I would, without wishing to teach to suck eggs, strongly advocate a cage with that sort of set up. Not much weight to add but so much more security for those moments at 115%.

You are quite right - cost is the problem. A cage is minimum of 700 quid. :(

Anyway, I've crashed on track many times without a cage... :P :P

The cage was one of the first things I did after stripping her out. (Full with door bars)

I have Cobra (I think) seats and full FIA 3inch harnesses as well, oh and Perspex windows, I had forgotten that.

And because it was a 316, no sunroof.

Good work Slarty !!!

:thumb: :thumb: :thumb: :thumb: :thumb:

Im deffo feelin' that fella !!!!!

Nice job with the slicks as well.

M50 is the later generation engine but without the 24v heads that saw the power go up to over 200bhp. Imagine slarty's car with 120bhp more and you are bang on the money for what I want to get next for track and drift practice for me and Karen.

Glad people approve of my taste in mods !!!

:D :D

If I had just said get a bimmer without all the other options I would have got called a heretic !!! lol

Oh yeah,

One other option if you REALLY want to learn the physics of RWD is to replicate Zeds Lancer.

Redefines the word "commitment" !!!!!

:D :D :D
