This clashes big time with a local VW festival so I'll be doing the VW thing early doors and then off to Cadwellcestershire to arrive about midday.

When is it?? I'm keen if I can fit it in.

Im not sure about overall support,

I dont get to see as much Time Attck as i would like, and this year almost zero I suspect. But from my view looking at the paddock it seems as busy as ever, with loads of the usual suspects (has Gareth Lloyd actually purchased the old RC Evo ??) but with even more leftfield machinery, like that pulsar, or a totally awesome looking 70's VW Polo widearch straight outta BergCup, the 6r4, a fully carbon bodied RS Cosworth (yep the 3 door one :D), ex BTCC cars and god knows what else, it certainly seems busier than ever.

Dont frequent the forums as much myself now, and certainly not to weigh myself down with boring laptime discussion and which kind of poly to use for your windows :D :D

I only go on there so that I know what is going on, as we are building our car. We met Ronnie the guy with the 3 dr cossie and his dad at brands hatch last year and had a really long talk with them, very nice and down to earth people. Even though he beat us to getting a particular sponsor onboard:frown:

That truck crash is weird, it looks like the guy didn't brake.

There is suggestions that they were supposed to take two different routes - the one behind was apparently supposed to go straight on but couldn't get past. God knows!

I saw that yesterday but was trying to keep it from Bart, you have no idea of just how competitive he is. When we first entered the time attack I actually had to complain as there wasn't a single picture of our car at Donnington even though in all 3 sessions only one or two people did more laps than Alan.

As always if you want the publicity you need to be up the front and that we just weren't. Be nice to see a Ford win the title:smilielol5:

Re the Truck crash.

They were asked to take a route to include the bustop chicane which I think was different to their first outing due to safety and speed. Guy in front remembered, guy behind didnt so didnt bother braking until the first chap started turning in. Shame as they're leading the championship or very near the top anyways and its likely that both are right offs.

Hope that clarifies things.
