Ben, i had one really great, all out go for it drive in the skyline but for some reason the same route in the ek9 is just so much more fun. The only downer is all the chavs around where i live think i,m great because of the ek9, they will always wave or give a thumbs up as if i,m there best mate
Ha ha ha Darren, all the chavs look at my RX and wave or give the thumbs up. Came out of Wickes shop and saw them walk across the road to take pics with camera phones......didnt know whether to dive back in or go back to it lol. Must be the same with all types of Jap motors.
James, your Civic was mighty fast with the supercharger fitted !!!!!

How you doing Darren?Mr Windscreen wrote:Alex wheres your v-tec point now??
As with stock cars, the VTEC engagement point is variable, dependent on things like oil temp and pressure, but mine is 5300 - 5600 rpm, and the rev limiter is raised to 9300 rpm
As a comparison, stock is 5920 - 6160 and 8600 rev limit.
Cheers,
Alex

Question about BHP
the import docs I got with car says 220ps which sounds a bit hi and whats worse it says its a 2.0L - which makes it really difficult to insure and its in the wrong tax band. Our friends at DVLC says I need a certificate from the manufacturer for them to change it !!! anybody been through this
its a standard 18C engine from what I know
