Im totally gutted about this,

Karen woke me up to tell me about it this morning.

I was sad when Richard Burns died, but that was after a long period so you kind of get acclimatised to it, but this was a much bigger shock. Plus the fact he was my No1 hero when I was first getting seriously interested in cars. I only ever got to say the odd brief "Hello" at various rallies, and was really looking forward to driving against him last year at Knockhill, but it never happened as he had a family wedding to go to when D1GB was on.

I didnt say anything to Jimmy either the other day and will deffo do so if he is involved with Time Attack again next year - it makes you realise how much you might regret missed opportunities like that.

Im just so sad about it

:( :(

RIP Fella, you will be sorely missed - condolences to your family,

J.
I have issues !!! :ack2:....I used to be average, now I reminisce !!!

Yep, I echo those thoughts, Colin was my rally hero from when I started to get onto cars in the early 90's and probably the reason i always wanted a Subaru.

Can't believe he is gone.

RIP

A great loss to the sport - my thoughts are with the families.

This is the sort of driving the world is going to be missing. he completely roles the car over but still manages to get to the finishing line and was only 1 second behind the leader
