Don't suppose there's any news on whether there'll be another? :)

Another night

Post by Stuart »

I am in the process of sorting out prices and dates for our ongoing use of the facilities at Snetterton  I should have some provisional dates and prices within the next few days and from there, we can plan ahead to see whether we can make this a regular fixture in the diary.

'My only comment would be this. Payments~ whilst I am fully aware that these sorts of days are purely luxuries (important ones of course) I/ the club cannot afford to cover the costs of these events without your payment in advance. We have a scenario at the moment with the beginners trackday night where we have over 40 on the list and 13 confirmed payments :o I'm happy to organise things and to arrange fun stuff for your enjoyment but my ability to do this is compromised by late payers.

Please do your best to get the money for any and all events paid in as early as you can. Common sense is all that is asked for here.'

Whinge over, I am sure that we can sort a decent schedule for practice/car control at the circuit and that has got to be good news for all concerned.

Nice one Stuart - Apologies for payment on the night last time, car wasnt on the road until an hour beforehand.

It was a good event and excellent value for money, my only fear is it may become a victim of its own success if the entry gets too large.

Good point Andy

The entry will not be allowed to become to large. I know you and several others had good reasons for late payments, and that was cool on the first event. However, moving forwards it will be a first come first served style with say the first 20 people paid can run and no more. This will ensure that the event doesn't become over subscribed and that the club doesn't haemorrhage its own cashflow.

I'm quite sure that we can do this around once a month if there is the demand for it. It would need to be on a weeknight and preferably away from a meet. We already have several events planned on those over the next three months. More news when I get it.

Brilliant chap, I'm up for as much practice as possible. With a cap of 20 and policing of the 3 laps and off rule, there should be decent time for all.
