So..any of you lot got a Veyron to lend to TG so they can hammer it around their track? :lol:

From memory, the 'old' stig drove the rx8 round the track 0.6 seconds quicker than the current stig.

The 8 is a cool car to drive :D

I actually think the Alfa looks kinda cool from the front...but that's it. The Audi TT is SOOOO much better looking than the old model..but then old model was just an upturned bath tub.

Hitting 253mph in the veyron was a nice stunt and probably was the best way to show the general public that getting from 200mph to 253mph is a real tough challenge and requires uber HP. Choosing James May was probably a good choice as the whole experience was rather understated.

Oh well, James can't say he is the fastest TG presenter...that award goes to Hamster :D

What I found interesting about the Veyron is yes it's capable of 253 - but from what May was saying that at that speed its pretty impossible to gauge anything!.
