Do you work on your own car, or let the garage do things?

I do every thing on the mini, as it need doing every year lol, would cost to much. Not sure i'd be able to do to much on the passat though.

From all these replys it would seem no tuners will get any trade from any big power members!!
I have never taken any of my cars to a garage etc, am now in the very lucky position of having a garage and ramps (available to everyone
) which makes life so much easier and makes working on a car much easier.
I am planning to go all the way with the skyline and have the engine apart in the future. The internet and the forums are so valuable now for doing any work.
