I saw the same program recently about it - it is becoming all too common - these days I won't deal with call centers over there.

Hopefully the bank will compensate you in some way or are they in denial :x

also - I shred everything - everything that comes through the door - I've seen now you can get cross shreders - investing in one shortly.

A guy at work found out he had a 3500 Next card bill - got it cleared up - and then Next kept ringing due to him being such a good customer :)

it`s totally wrong, being a business I give out account information to my customers and now I don`t think I can do that anymore. Cheque, Pay Pal or nothing.

No compensation offered.

I know its a joke. I agree to shred everything i naver worried about it but just before i left for Japan when i was moving out of my house, i went back to it to finish up cleaning it and found that somebody had taken my wheelie bin round to the back garden and had tipped it over and raided through it. That really made me think. Luckily i had already closed all of my accounts.

Well it`s all come to an end with a result, the police dropped their investigation which made me think Norwich Union had made the mistake. And after writing a very thought provoking letter to them, they have admitted they made a mistake and will compensate me for any costs involved. So happy days!
