If it helps - sticking to the speed limit - and stuck behind grannies - plus lots of ran!, I got to ipswich from norwich in 1 hours 26 minutes. Which is about the same distance you'll be travelling.

Will be going from Hatfield, via Dullingham (near Cambridge) so probably going to take a while... If there were actually some motorways in East Anglia it would help.

The A11 is as good if not better than a motorway - just have to negotiate the Centreparcs slow bit

Easy then - head up the A1M - then onto A505 - go through Baldock, Past Royston then head to the A11 - Onto A14 - Back onto A11 - it won't take long.

It's about an 40 mins to Snetterton from Duxford.

Watch out for the speed cameras on the A505
