Ben

Yeah, but that would mean 13 careful owners.

You can buy the mk1 if you promise to sell the mk2 to someone on here; deal? We have to try and perpetuate this Golf breeding programme mate :)

i'l fight you for it (in the style of snatch)

2.0l 16v carbed mk1 is a perfect combo , and yes i would buy it if it was not a rotter
i'v even been tempted recently to swap my pulsar for a very nice mk1 16v on carbs.
Small one's are more juicy

For Interest I also have a car for sale - My old 1991 16v - Awaiting pictures from Mat - basic details are.

1991 16v 3 door - 130,000 miles. Black Metallic. Uprated shocks and springs otherwise totally standard.

Interior - Rainbow - no holes, tears etc. All electricals working.
Exterior - Fantastic condition with no rust whatsover - 4 x BBS Ra's - no kerbing - great tyres.

So the BUT - it was hit by a lorry causing damage to the passenger door - the insurance company wrote it off ! - Matt replaced the door and car is complete - the door fitted in my opinion has some minor ripples in it.

Price undecided till further checks made.

I had this car for over 4 years and loved it - Matt has had it 2 years or so - I had a quick look over it last weekend and am Impressed still with it's lack of wear.

Before it goes on pistonheads - send me a pm if interested.
