big piles of overpriced crap.
Dont fall for the mac users sweet nothings of a virus free existence away from blue screens and Trojans. Its like the cake, all lies.
Seriously though, most software is cross platform these days, the O/S makes little difference, personaly i use linux, but then you need a degree in nerdyness to make that work properley so wouldnt go there.
Macs are ok, but no more stable than a windows 7 machine, i mostly resent paying the extra money soley to have some manky half eaten fruit logo, and nothing else.
1 Vote for sticking with windows.

As far as I'm aware there are no virus' at all, sure they have been created under condition but none in the wild?!?! Unless you can prove otherwise I'll stand by my statement...If there was I'm sure either of my machines would be infected and showing some sort of issues

Got a mac book two years ago and never looked back, i've even got a mac at work now.
It will take you a while to get used to it but it's well worth it in the end. You can also run Parallels on it - enabling you to run windows alongside your mac without the need to reboot to switch systems.
Admittedly there are viruses for macs but they are nowhere near as common as Windows. Macs also dont use a registry like Windows does, so your mac wont slow down and need reformatting/replacing after two years.
Hope this helps!

I'm looking to get a Macbook Pro and deciding whether to go now or wait till the new revision comes out (sometime this year). Its killing me at the moment not having a machine to work on at home as my pc died on me and would need a full overhaul and always wanted a mac since seeing my brothers macbook when he first got it 7 years ago. I may cave and buy one in the next few weeks if the new one doesnt come out. (almost went in at lunchtime today
)
Yes they are expensive but they do last a long time in terms of specs plus you dont have to keep reinstalling windows every couple of years because of viruses etc
Have a look in john lewis as they are doing low VAT prices till the middle of the month plus you get the 2 year guarantee as standard rather than the Apple shops 1 year !!!
What do you Macboys think of iWork ? Is it better than the MS Office for Mac ?
