Over the years i've seen various custom incarnations of Mk1's sporting full race 2.5L and 3.0L Kent OHV engines with full slicks on steel wheels and the most bulbous wide wheel arches you ever saw. Used to see them on TV as a kid racing at venues like Donnington and Brands. These days you still see one or two about competing in classic race series!! That's a very tidy looking car. Will make someone a cracking project!! :D

cant quite believe it, had the escort up for sale on ebay for 30mins and after 5 phone calls later its been sold

its going to a really good home too, the chap who has brought it is restoring it and giving it to his dad for his 70th birthday as his dad used to have the same colour and model when he was younger and has always regretted selling it
