Am i missing something and has the black beast of an Evo been sold????

I have to agree with Stu. look how much interest and business the Evo build brought to your business. You are now one of the top Evo specialists in the country.

Expanding from that with another Marque would be a step forward imo.

Obviously i would say go down the BMW route but i think the Porsche route is a viable option aswell...

Is there as much you can do with a Porsche as an Evo ? Surely the GT3 comes with all the decent bits and wouldn't people just buy those bits ?

If it's a tuning car then surely the GTR, the 370z, the new Scoob are going to be cars to focus on. Apart from the GTR I don't think there will be much tuning potential in new cars. Still think an RX7 or Scoobs are the way forward to help build the tuning potential as there are few specialists in this neck of the woods.

Worth speaking to James S as there are a number of new garages being built on the Snett circuit, not sure if these are only track car companies so might be worth specialising in some of those makes.

We are a at the earliest a few years off completing all those industiral units mentioned as the track will be the first thing to change, however there is already alot of interest from specific car manufacturers and also race teams for them.. You could find a new marque to specialise in for eg: BMW's/Porsche and if it was race preparing them, a new unit in the centre of what will be a very busy motoring facility with direct circuit access from the rear of each workshop could be an option for you..?

VdeV Cars?
Radicals?
There was talk of an Ultima GTR series a while back so with your initial post that would be helpful...

It would be interesting to pay attention to Autosport & Motorsport News for the next coming racing season as there are alot of new and impressive race series starting up..

Plenty you can do with Porsches and the market just opened up a little bit more with the advent of a Boxster race series next year.

think i better put more of my thoughts down on paper

all of this as started from christian deciding it all over for his rs,(that needs another thread)

Im not done with the evo.In fact i plan to get it out again asap and do a few track days before end of year but was thinking what could i replace it with.
A porsche gt 3 rs will only ever happen if i sold or broke the evo in parts and for what, a car thats slower than the evo. So i was looking at gtr. Im not looking at it from the APT point of view. It would be another car we could turn our attention too.
I started to think about the gtr in building it over time and while i still have the evo. Then if in time i do sell the evo then i can put the money over to the ultima.
From looking at it you can buy the chassis for a bit over 3k and then buy the stages as you want them.

In a way it's understandable.... but it's the death of something special.

If getting old were an excuse, I'd be driving a Nissan Micra instead of driving it like a Nissan Micra. :D
