Gareth, you're a friend for life :D

Actually, being an old git doesn't mean you have to hang on to the old crap! Personally, I love the modern innovative stuff. Saying that, I drive a twelve year old car

you boys - I still hanker after a 1970 Chevelle SS in Black with white stripes - 'Melba Toast' - the car driven by Wooderson in 'Dazed and Confused' ...

I have a rather varied taste Gerry.. I love modern, but I also love classic machines - maybe you can't call american muscle classic but all the same - I'd quite happily own a 911, a lancia stratos, 1970 Cuda even an old Skyline .. :).

I'm the same with music - I like opera aswell as gangsta rap :)

Well had a bit of a mental day at work so didn't get a chance to respond til now :)

Glad to see it's generated a bit of comment.

Clearly it's not a car for everyone, and I doubt it'll be winning any hillclimbs soon, but for a 'modernised' 60's musclecar I think it's pretty sweet. Would be a bit different to the usual Chargers and Mustangs from that era too.

Like Ben's said, you don't have to like just one genre or style of anything. Staying on topic, I'd love this car, a S1 Exige and a bunch of others in my garage, doesn't mean you can't appreciate the benefits of each :)

Ben - got to say, I personally find the looks of the 'Cuda a little too challenging ;) but that Chevelle SS is nice :)

Oh, and did anyone see that Camaro Z28 race car at the Heritage Trackdays event back in (I think) August? Awesome noise and speed!

Cheers,
Alex

The 'Roger' is Roger Bennington of Long Stratton Motor Company and Heritage Trackdays.

An amazing car and peddled by a couple of real characters. The entire team are well into their sixties but man, they can drive and race prepare most of us into a cocked hat :)

Go on Gareth, I defy you to turn your nose up at that ;)
