Later in the interview, he said that the Pilot convinced Air Traffic Control to divert him to an alternate runway. The pilot used a runway that would make them land against the headwind instead of the horrific crosswind. Scary stuff!!

I've had one or two hairy landings in light aircraft but nothing like that. Looks like constipation is a thing of the past for any passengers. :wink:
