Okay guys im back,
Had a bit of a mare, but it could of all been worse. The car requires quite an overhaul of the front drivetrain and shes in need of a new braking setup.
The Brembos just arnt cut out for the ring. So maybe AP or Porsche setup is in order.
We got in 5 laps before the bearing let go and we were lapping in the very early 9's passing bikes and the odd porsche is a rather nice feeling. I know the curcuit very well now and can drive every bend in my head.. i just have to learn how to drive it quickly for real now.
So if anyones interested i'll have a set of refurbished Brembos coming up for sale with Tar:ox discs and new yellowstuff pads(The pads have done approx 500miles)

Awesome pics, seems odd that the Brembo's can't cut it, as last year in my Classic I had standard 4 pots, standard discs and DS2500 pads, and the only part of the track they grumbled a bit was heading down into Adenau. The Ring isn't a big braking circuit as there are lots of bits in between the corners to cool the brakes. I was lapping at circa 9 mins BTW
Do you think the extra weight accounts for the issues, has Duncan had a similar issue??

Nope - brakes have been fantastic. Performance Friction discs and pads have been very impressive :notworthy:
Did a 9.01 yesterday with roadworks down through Fuchsrohre. Comparing laps on VirtualCup, that section was about 6 seconds slower because of that. Hoping for a roadwork free run or 4 today :thumb:
