But you will have to stop yourself putting bits on her MR2 !!!!!!

Good plan though, once the bits are on the Skyline she cant make you take them off !!!

Tan certainly doesn't love the 32 the way that I do, but she at least understands my borderline obsession with it. Ben, are you sure Jo was on about the car when she referred to it as the beast? Maybe your choice of film had an influence (Can't believe that she lets you hire Jenna Jameson films :o ;) )

The only thing does test Tans patience is when I say 'That's it, I'm not spending anymore!' and then 30 minutes later she sees me online perving at new seats/wheels/carbon...........enough never is enough with my hobby. If it's not the 32 it's the XR, if it's not that it's window shopping for the next car to own ( classic XJC or old school Yank is looking favourite at the moment)

Gareth~ you must love that girl dearly as with that attitude I would have kicked her into touch years ago  (Hi Emma :wave2: )

Ha ha ha I know the 'I'm not spending anymore on it' line well !!! Can never resist a bargain on the MRC site so I never say that lol. Single Turbo kit good for 380 bhp is looking pretty good at the mo but a bit pricey.

I dont think you ever finish a car, it always needs something else.

Plus I am also an offender when it comes to looking on sites for my next car (Integra, 200sx or MX5 looking faves at the min).

Yeah Emma says all this stuff but it goes in one ear and out the other.

She does know that when the time comes and it has to go I will be devastated.

Will just fire me up to look for something else lol

My missus HATES the Rex,
she loathes me spending any money on it at all,

* hates that its smelly (running rich at mo),
* hates the fact that I wont leave it anywhere dodgy,
* hates that I only use it at weekends,
* hates that its so thirsty,
* hates that its so unreliable (in her words...in mine...it just needs tlc)
* hates that the suspension is hard,
* hates that there is no room in it,
* hates that I bought it in the first place instead of saving the money,
* hates that I peruse the forums and meet lots of nice like minded
people that encourage me to spend money on it (Scott !!!!!!)
* hates that I like talking about it,
* hates that when we go out with her friends I can always find someone
who has respect for it,
* hates that I clean it rather than her car,
* hates that I keep fiddling with it,
* hates that its soooo expensive for parts (it really isnt as people keep
writing them off so 2ndhand parts a plenty!)
* hates..........

^-- These are just the things I have thought of now !
Whenever its her birthday, anniv etc etc I always write in the cards 'Love Gareth and Rex'....just to annoy her

Got some more mods I bought last year and have been hiding away...havent told her yet....that'll be fun
Well done Gareth

I can relate to every one of those and a few more besides - did you know I'm driving the new kitchen and bathroom etc etc
But on the upside - she puts up with me poor gal

I must be one of the lucky ones :D

I wouldn't say Sarah loves the GTR but she does like the fact that I have one. She does however have more V Power running through her veins than I do :D:D

The Rex is her pride and joy and she absolutely loves it. 8)
I may be getting older but I REFUSE to grow up :D
