Thanks for all the replies guys.

The news from me is grim though;
After phoning sumo power, abbey and HKS today they all told me the clutch will never fit what i have. I now have to take the box off the car again and push it off the ramps.

I then have to sell the clutch what i have in there to be able to afford to buy the correct clutch for my car.

Surprise surprise the bloke who i bought it off is not responding to my e-mails. :x

This has really got to me and if there is any lesson to be learnt in this it is to trust no one when buying car parts and double check all part numbers.

On forums do not trust people with low post counts until you have got to really know them when buying parts, especially expensive ones!

Mate - firsly what a f**kin sh*tter, secondly name and shame them on the forum you got it from.

Would someone like Abbey be interested in doing a part exchange for it may be.

You're not going to like this - but how about getting a single plate exedy so you can get up and running whilst you try and sell this twin plate.

The exedy is about
Dum spiro, spero

Thanks for the reply Ben.

The bloke who sold it to me looks like he only used the forum to sell that clutch so would not even effect him if i named him.

Abbey are a bunch of bastads in my opinion, i phoned to ask them about it and they said; ' was you the guy who bought the clutch advertised on the forum', i replied yes and they said 'oh i knew someone was going to get caught out with that' i thought why the f*$k did you not put a post up to warn people then!!!! :x

At least it is winter i suppose and i would not be using the car anyway.

Took the box back off today and she is now sat with her gearbox beside her. :cry:
