What i am saying is any one of you can pay to see matt and phill keen race on a trac in the gtc. So why do you want to see them race against sunday drivers. not being funny but people that drive on track days generally cant race time attack.

In my opinion people aren't paying to watch the drivers, they are paying to watch the cars. They want to see the cars go as quick as humanly possible and a pro driver may help them to do that. The reason that Time Attack will do well is that guys like us can go along and see how a well driven GTR stacks up against an EVO, Impreza, Celica etc etc. They are more tangible to us than a lot of the high end sports cars.

There will no doubt be some hugely quick driver/tuners and some equally talented invited drivers competing that just cannot summons the sponsorship needed to compete in top level UK motorsport. I don't think the writing is on the wall any in respect for the Time Attack. It will be a great competition I'm sure and whoevers driving I intend to be there, in some capacity, for as many rounds as possible.

Any thoughts from Time Attack Rob, or are you sitting firmly on the fence mate :thumb:

I'm glad we are stirring some debate!

The decision to let Matt drive the car was an easy one for more reasons that can be readily explained. It will allow me to concerntrate on what I do best which is build the cars, although I will be out in the car doing a significant amount of testing.

Most of these drivers, Matt included are professional drivers, as in, racing cars is their profession. Unfortunately for most, it is not their living, and those that can't bring in significant sponsorship must work to pay the bills.

Paul - great decision.

Not saying that you are not a fantastic driver but it will give you a good opportunity to view the development objectively. Well done :D

Now... what the chance of it donning BigPower logos ? ;)

There is no need to pay Paul, we would supply them free of charge ;)

Joking aside, I think Dunks question was speculative at best. We will have politely decline the offer thank you. Hopefully we will have some form of presence in the event anyway. (admittedly not a pro driven tuner car though :thumb: )
