4 councils in the west midlands have just gained high court approval to ban car cruising. Fuckwits, all the footage they show is from Hams Hall. Illegal and totally stupid street racing that has seen several accidents and even some deaths over the years.
The powers and laws that are already in place are to deal with this kind of underground behaviour. The new law banning car cruising WILL ONLY affect reputable car clubs/facebook groups who get together on a regular bases to cruise from one venue to another and don't tolerate pissing about.
When will these people learn. They don't have a clue about anything and will only make things worse.
When I was younger the local scene was known as The 'ess bends', right on the edge of the city centre and this went on for years with regular police presence, which kept things calm. The police left (budget cuts) and the dick heads arrived. Do-nuts, wheel spinning, hanging out of windows etc. and the accidents followed. The police returned in mass one night and basically bitch slapped everyone in that area, well over a hundred cars. Calm returned.
Then the council got involved and put in speed bumps....They solved nothing, they just moved the problem to several other areas.
They know where these areas are, well most of them. Arrest them for careless or dangerous driving or even racing on a public highway. All laws that still exsist and if found guilty impound their car for 28days with a fine. If caught again crush their car.
I would have no problem with going to certain car meets or cruises but I would NEVER go to a scene like Hams Hall as that shit is well out of control but as i said at the start this will only hurt sensible clubs.
