Yes mate mine has a knock link that i got from andy stevens many moons ago. It has been proven preety spot on as well.
Unless you buy one thats running as like a bag of shit i wouldn`t bother changing the maf. If you were to get it re-mapped then you could go maf-less as mine and harry`s are now.:)

Now that we have renamed the club "Scooby Power" Dan I think that everyone has given you as much info and opinion as it is possible to absorb in one lifetime. They really are very versatile and will give excellent service both on and off the track just as long as you don't skimp on servicing and don't seek mega hose power it will be reliable and whilst a little expensive to run it will reward in bucket loads.

Had mine coming on for 4 years and has been a pleasure to own but it was a good one and had been sensibly and well modified a credit to the previous owner and his Guru Mike Blackmore.

Now stop Faffing and go and find a good one plenty on here will give it the once over with you

In time Harry, in time

I have to say guys, this is what makes BP important to me. Everyone chips in with opinions and points of view, which really does make this the most helpful car club/forum that I've been a part of. :)

Really liking the links Andy, Russ and Logan have put up. I guess the WRX is the one to go for as they do have decent poke and at a sensible price. Although if I come across a WRX STi that's cheap and low miles I'll gladly take it. ;) The plan is to change in 2013, main reason being is that I need to put a buffer of cash to one side (just incase) and what's claimed to be the worst winter in 100 years coming for us, I want to prat about in the truck offroad in the snow. :D

I had my old turbo2000 for over 5 years and never had a problem with it apart from a waste gate problem when the VF34 was fitted.
The old girl cost me an arm and a leg but that was only because of modding it :D

No problem with it after 5 years? Now that's what I like to hear. As for 'mods' they would only be sensible ones for me. New discs + pads (or swap for available Brembos) Would be nice to refurb a set of second hand coilovers like Russ' Cusco units, it'll be dead handy to have at a slightly lower height most of the year and raise it up for the winter play. :D And that would pretty much do it for me. :)

Also Russ, I didn't realise Old Yella was Old Silva!? Who repainted it?
