Post by Adam_sx »

Anyone local to snetterton know what the conditions are like?

Has a trackday ever been cancelled due to fog?

With me being down there tomorrow and having just over a hours drive to get there i dont want to turn up and find its cancelled :(

Pretty crap to be honest and I live 4 miles away. It hasn't lifted here all day, but in truth, I haven't left the house either so it could be quite different 'on the roads'

Ring the circuit and ask Adam (01953 887303 from memory)

It really has been pretty dense out and about mate, had the fog lights on all day. Excuse the arty farty photo I took today, but this honestly gives you an idea just how thick it's been;

Dan, you're a tart :thumbs: (Nice shot)

You should be OK Adam; it is very rare for a trackday to be cancelled. Very rare. You may just be a bit late starting, that's all.

The rally at Snetterton today was delayed but then the fog lifted a little so they decided to start. One minute you could see the action then the next minute you couldn't see the track at all. It got that bad about 3.30pm I decided to go home.
